Lexi is not very good at catching stuff, you know, cookies, balls, random things that Mom might be throwing- so we decided to help her out a little. Here, she is carefully listening to the instructions on how to catch a tennis ball. She was quite interested.

Jaw precision is critical- open your mouth too much and the ball goes down your gullet, too little and it bounces off your razor sharp tooth.

After one million throws where Lexi finally caught one, I decided to learn something too.
So I taught myself to read.
Hey Willow! We got to sniff a dog yesterday. Riley came to visit and we sniffed him on his nose. We even hung around for a long time and got more and more interested in this furry thing and then BAARRKK! We left town. Why do you do that? We had to HISS.

OMG best pics ever! how many tries did THAT take with the ball?? She is such a goof when it comes to catching; she watches your HAND instead of the item coming OUT of the hand. derrrrr
ReplyDeleteShe was pretty funny. After a few times, she did watch the ball, but if it went too far from her, she missed it. I guess I was more throwing it into her mouth than she was catching it. But, she was a good sport!
